Love, Joy, Peace...
You’re Welcome at Lighthouse

At Lighthouse Baptist Church, you will find biblical preaching, Christ-centered worship, and a church family learning to follow Christ faithfully together.

Whether you have attended church for years, are looking for a church home, or are simply beginning to ask questions about God, we would be glad to have you worship with us.

We Know Visiting a Church Can Feel Uncomfortable

Walking into a church for the first time can feel intimidating. You may wonder where to go, what to wear, what the service will be like, or whether you will feel out of place.

We want to make that first step as simple as possible.

At Lighthouse, you do not have to have everything figured out before you come. You do not have to know all the songs, understand every part of the Bible, or look a certain way. Come as you are, and we will be glad to welcome you.

Come as you are

You do not need to have everything figured out before you come.

No pressure

We want you to feel welcomed without feeling singled out or uncomfortable.

What Can I Expect When I Visit?

When you visit Lighthouse, you can expect a simple, sincere gathering centered on Christ and His Word.

Biblical Preaching

The preaching at Lighthouse is centered on the Bible and focused on Jesus Christ. We believe God’s Word is true, sufficient, and necessary for our lives. Our desire is not merely to hear information, but to be shaped by the truth of God’s Word and grow deeper in Christ.

Christ-Centered Worship

Our worship is simple and congregational. We sing to honor the Lord, encourage one another, and respond to the truth of Scripture. Our goal is not performance, but faithful worship from the heart.

A Welcoming Church Family

Lighthouse is a small church, and we see that as an opportunity to know one another, care for one another, and walk together in faith. You will not be treated like a number. We want you to feel welcomed without feeling pressured.

A Place to Grow

We are not a perfect church, but we are committed to growing. We want to grow deep in Christ, glow with His light in our community, and go faithfully wherever He leads.

A Few Things That May Help You Feel Prepared
What should I wear?

You will see a range of dress at Lighthouse. Some dress casually, and others dress more traditionally. You do not need to dress a certain way to visit. We care far more about you being here than what you are wearing.

Where should I go when I arrive?

When you arrive, come through the main entrance and someone will be glad to help you find where to go. If you are unsure, just ask. We know it can feel awkward to visit a new place, and we want to make it easier.

What about children?

Children are welcome at Lighthouse. We are glad when families worship with us. If you have questions about what is currently available for children or families, feel free to contact us before your visit.

Will I be singled out?

No. We want to welcome you, but we will not embarrass you. You will not be asked to stand, speak publicly, or introduce yourself in front of everyone.

Do I need to bring anything?

You do not need to bring anything. If you have a Bible, you are welcome to bring it. If not, you can still follow along and listen. The most important thing is simply to come.

What Happens on a Sunday Morning?

Our Sunday morning usually includes Bible study, worship through song, prayer, Scripture reading, and preaching from God’s Word.

The service is simple and centered on Christ. We want every part of our gathering to help us know God more clearly, respond to Him more faithfully, and encourage one another as we follow Jesus together.

Let Us Know You’re Coming

You are welcome to visit without letting us know ahead of time. But if you would like to ask a question, request prayer, or let us know you are planning to come, we would be glad to hear from you.
